About Andy
Mineral Products Electrical Services Ltd is led By Andy Meadows a highly competent and respected Electrical Engineer in the Minerals Sector. He has over 43 years’ experience working as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Group Engineering Manager in operational and safety roles for global organisations and family owned businesses. Andy is an Incorporated Electrical Engineer, Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying, Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a member of the Board of Trustees for the Institute of Quarrying.
During his time in the Minerals Sector Andy has chaired the QNJAC working group on The Management of Electrical Safety in Quarries, Associated Plant and Equipment and was the Electrical Technical Expert on the QNJAC working group for Isolation of Hazardous Energy. Andy also works with the Minerals Products Qualification Council and Minerals Matter as the Pillar Lead for Education and Apprenticeships.
